Boston Common
A stroll through the Boston Common, also known as the Central Park of our city, can fill an hour or a day. Some of the attractions hidden on the 50-acres include:
* Make Way for Ducklings Statue. A result of the acclaimed Boston-based children\’s book by Robert McCloskey in 1941, the bronze statue is a terrific attraction for all children. Bring your book, read to your children and make a game of it! On the Boston Common.
* The Swan Boats. Also on the Boston Common! Introduce your pre-schooler to the tranquility of water with a 15-minute ride on Boston\’s famous Swan Boats. Open from April until the end of September, cost is nominal at $2.75 per adult and $1.50 per child.
* Carousel. What kid doesn\’t love the round and round of an old-fashioned carousel? Open mid-April to the end of October.

The Frog Pond & Tadpole Playground
Cool off in the wading & spray pool in the summer and enjoy ice skating during the winter months, a visit to the Frog Pond is a rite of passage for any child. Fun for the whole family and it’s free.
