Cahootie, a great way to promote communication with your tween!

My Fab Family Cahootie

I bet you didn’t know it, but you most likely at some point in your childhood have played with or enjoyed the concept of Cahootie. So remember those days when you were a child in school, folding your paper into one of those fortune telling games that you wear on your fingertips, quickly moving your fingers back and forth in sync with the spelling of a special word or number. Finally, you pick your fate, and underneath the flap lies a silly fact or your destiny – “You will ride roller coasters all summer long when you visit all the best amusement parks!”

Cahootie has revolutionized and customized this concept to create over 20 different colorful themed categories like My Fab Family, Chill Out, My Fab Future, Birthday Wishes, Camp Rocks, and Would You? Included with the Cahootie are 40 different re-usable stickers so that the kids can continually change their fortune or ask different questions. In the Chill Out theme, it’s all about fun things to do over the summer and yes– the stickers are strawberry scented. In My Fab Family, there were some thoughtful questions like, “What is your favorite family picture?” “Should we go on a road trip? Where?” Words I can think of when describing Cahootie are: portable, colorful, durable, cute and silly. Whether you play with your children, buy one as a birthday gift or for slumber party games, Cahootie, is a fresh take on a childhood experience that can transcend generations. Cahootie is designed for tweens or kids, primarily girls, ages 7 and up. They retail from $5.99 to $6.99. I know in our society these days, parents are always looking for fun new ways to engage their children in conversation and using Cahootie could be a great avenue to open the doors for good communication with all the members of your family.

Cahootie provided My Fab Family and Chill Out Cahooties free to facilitate this review. The opinions are my own.
